Mission Week 29, Bogota City Week 12, "Baptismal Dates"

Hi family and friends!

This was another great week.
Some highlights from the week...

This Wednesday we were able to set a baptismal date for a abuelita in the CasteƱeda family. This family is less-active, but we were able to call the grandmother and she kindly opened up her door to let us share a message with her. She has been going through a lot a lot a lot of problems in her life. She couldn't help but just bawl as she talked about everything. We were able to share our testimonies with her on the blessing of baptism. We both felt impressed to ask her if she would prepare to be baptized. She accepted! So we'll be working with her to get her ready.

On Friday, we had to bodyguard the sisters the entire day. I guess some guy was trying to get their contacting info. and we had no idea who it was. There was also a really weird looking man who came to church the previous Sunday. The Zone-leaders called us and asked us to stick with them for the day.

Saturday night, we went to the Galeano Sanchez home and they put on a full on feast for us. Every time we come over they always cook up something for us! We played a board game called YA!

Sunday, Nelfi and Juana from the Galeano Sanchez family came to church on Sunday! Since they've attended sacrament meeting 3 times now we can baptize them! They have grown so much from the first time we visited them. The mother wants to live with her family for eternity! She learned about eternal families this Sunday and she absolutely loved it! The only thing we have to do now is get the father in on this!

Love you all and hope your week is wonderful and filled with blessings!
